Personally I think he's damn over rated and I never much cared for him to begin with.Bogey wrote:And I wish people would quit thinking Yoda is a fucking god.
My issue with the death of the jedi was this...
4 jedi's verses 1 sith lord
Jedi 1: "Well shit... this isn't much for the fairness of light... I vote that 3 of us just stand around and get stabbed, then we'll let mace winddick take care of it on his own... All in favor?"
Jedi's in unison: "Aye"
Jedi 1: "All Opposed?" *pause* "Then it's settled... let's get stabbed guys"
I think the problem is the people thing the jedi are supposed to be more badass than they actually are.
and i can see why theyd thing that.
the Jedi with the most screen time are all top rate shit.
so its probably natural to assume that all jedi are like that.
but thats just not the case.
if it was then the war would have ended early and luke would have fuck all to do.

I thought the Sidious - 4 Jedi fight was shit too. It's not the fact that 3 of them died really quick, it's that I'm really disappointed with what they did with Mace Windu. I thought he was slow in Attack of the Clones but this is rediculous. It's like they didn't give a shit about his character. Sidious dispatches the 3 jedi and then suddenly slows down so Sam can keep up with him. The really annoying thing is that Samuel L Jackson is more than capable of putting out a decent fight scene, it's just the choreographer must've been sick that day. Mace Windu is one Jedi you should expect to see a decent fight from with his reputation.
Joe's grumpy today...
I thought it was an alright flick, as neither an avid fan or avid hater of the series, it wasn't a total ripoff of the $12 it cost to watch it, but then I wouldn't pay to see it in the cinema again.
I kinda thought the lizard thing that Obi was riding was...really really really annoying, just the sound effects mind you...it was like he was riding jarjar binks.
Very cheesey, i get that is apart of the style of the film but it was still cheesy.

The australian dollar is worth about US$0.77 atm... give or take depending on the stockmarket.
the most expensive i've paid for a normal ticket is...$13.00, depending on where you go. For instance in my home town tickets cost about $9. Tightass tuesdays it's usually about $3-4 cheaper.
Over here goldclass is like $25 a ticket.
Actually you want insane prices.... KIOSK food at the cinema... medium popcorn, medium softdrink, 2 choc tops =$14 and that's a "deal" bloody markups
