From those killer tunes that you heard 6 years ago in the back of a mini bus, heading into Utah, or the songs that are on the radio now. This is the place. (No R&B please, because it doesn't exist)

I fucking hate green day, it doesn't help that I have a problem with the whole punk rock genre to being with.
I detest this song, it's just the same old bollicks.

Green Day just slightly changes the lyrics to each song.
That's how you know the difference.

i haven't bought any new green day stuff in ages
i already own dookie, nimrod, and two others, a really old one, and the one after nimrod
so basicly i own all the original music they made, everything after that, and a lot on those albums, is just what morbid said, same song, different lyrics.
and i think the title track sucks.

Punk is good because it's one of the few genres left that doesn't take itself more seriously than it should.

true
i mean how can you take bands like rancid and primus seriously?
i also think that's part of green day's (and The Offspring's for that matter) problem. They got way too into their fame.

perhaps
however the new album, in my opinion, is closer to the original greenday
the greenday without the ego an d love of fame

the new album kicks ass. and i would love to see any of you make that much money and not get into it.
when a person gets famous it changes them. their is no getting around it , it happens to everyone. but the music hassnt suffered as a result.
(and for the record the offspring also rock)

Too bad there's just about no orginality or talent in it.
Oh yeah...Type O Negative doesn't take themselves seriously (and they're a goth metal band, ooh) Their "Best of" album was called "The Least Worst of."
