It has come to my attention that many peoples over the world use weird phrases.
Like in my native country of Ulster (Northern Irleand)
We use weird reinforcement in our phrases.
Take my sig for example
"I don't love Leif" this should hold up all on it's own, but oh no .. my natural response is to say
'I don't love Leif, so I don't'
Alternately if the statement is a postive the tag will also be postive. For exmaple.
'That's really Fucked up'
Becomes
'That's really Fucked up, so it is'
Anyone else use weird lingo.
also, I don't love Leif and nothing he says or does matters to me and has zero impact on this thread.

im the same with the above usualy, and i tend to repeat part of my statement, the definitive part, even if im not making a point, then theres the fact i tend to speak in broken sentances, but yeah, you get to understand me quick enough

means open the door...tis a yorkshire sccent and im damn proud of it
or in't...instead of in the
init...instead of isn't it
what mik said is the typical way i imatate atypical stereotyped irish accent...im good at doing voices u see..

My accent and way of talking is really messed up, cause I pick up on other people's way of talking so easy. It's mostly Irish from when I spent so much time with an Irish family friend and such. You could put me in Ireland for a week, and I'll come back sounding like I came from that place.. so yeah... I'll not tell you all too much in case I start going all weird.
And that Yorkshire accent really gets to me... I hate it. Can't stand going to my grandparents caravan near Yorkshire, too many shouting people who speak funny.

It's a common way to mimick the irish the problem is it's too accurate .. we do speak like that sometimes.
I don't mind the yorkshire accent it's kind of quaint. The missing letters and stuff is a bit daunting at first but most english people speak slower than we do, so it's easy to pick up.
I've lost count of the amount of times I've been asked to slow down my speaking cause people don't understand what I'm saying.
It's like the Pikey's in Snatch I could understand them with ease, I hear they where considering using subtitles for that film.

what's with all the leif hating?
i for one LOVE leaf... maybe not exactly what you guys mean, but close.
I've been told people from where i'm from talk strangely, not saying certian parts of words and stuff, but i dunno. I can't hear it because most of the people i know have done it all their life.
Maybe i'll call someone and have them tell me what they thenk
