Slipping into silence
I can’t say a word
My voice has escaped me
the void undisturbed
As I watch you walk away
there’s so much I want to say
I’m sorry, I love you, I want you to stay
With me here let your laughter fill the void that has opened in my chest
When you tore out my heart
You didn’t even jest, let me down gently
or wish me all the best

You simply strode away
Into the sunset perhaps
But I’m here on my knees
Emotions ready to collapse
In upon themselves
And twist into a rage
And converge upon you, you who ripped out my heart
And left me alone to drown in my sorrow
Or in the bottom of a bottle
You’ve played your part in the destruction of my being
But you’ll kill me again when I see you in the arms of another
Will you kill him too as you did me?
Perhaps give it time and we’ll see…

it's strange how one can relate to such poetic words....depressing, but it's still outstanding.

I wasn't sure if you spelt fuckin like you did...so I didn't edit it but I edited want in your title if your wondering.

I like it, it's sad but written with heart.

Only one question, was the rhyming in stanza one in lines 5, 6,7 intentional? Because i kind of kept expecting more later on but it didn't come.
