*hold hand up*

yup..i abused my PS2...and damn it abuses me....i have broken two...this is my third...nothing has gone wrong with this one i have now....my self calm...and none use helped that...but i dont take offence to that...ima nutter with computers,i really am...sad really...but no longer...i can keep my temper with them....but...i never listen to those epilepse warnings....but now...since i grew up a lot...i can control my anger....plesae...iam sad for breaking them please dont remind me...im not proud

this one spends its time ina bag...near my t.v....i should get the hoover out and clean it...but when do i hoover? *looks stumped* ....but i have cd cleaners...and i just pop it in every now and again..listen to the cheesey music...(dance alittle) then play my ps1 games..most ps2 games suck...with the exception of GTA

At the moment mine is messed up it won't load any games so my bro (chewi) has order a playstation 2 drive for it about a month ago but it hasn't come yet. When i open the drive it make a wierd noise and seems to sometimes get stuck!!! It is bloody anoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it makes a clicking noise when it boots. Hopefully a new drive will fix it. But the version 5 ones are out of stock right now. Damn.

PS2s were made illegal in China for a similar reason. Possibly they still are.

you could just as easily convert an atari 2600 or a coleco vision for the same purpose, probably easier then you could convert a ps2

personally i would have gone with an xbox, it's already got a decent programing language (very similar to c++ if i'm not mistaken) and a good amount of hardware. Hell the ports are just variations of USB interfase, how hard would it be to jack a keyboard into one of those?

Ben, no hardware uses any specific language. I'd say it's likely that C++ is used for all games on all of today's consoles but it doesn't necessarily have to be C++. And I believe you can plug a keyboard and mouse into the Xbox. I'm sure the people with Linux on it don't just use the gamepad!

The PS2 came out first, that's why they didn't use Xbox.

first of all thats no bunny and second. It is possible to have USB interfaces on ur X-Box it does call for some modding but hey I love it lol. And they acutally released a keyboard especailly for the x-box. Go to ur local Gamestation and ask.
