Best Final Fanatasy opening

im only using the ones that had FMV openings

to be more specific not the thing they show after the squaresoft logo im talking about the movie that is played when u select new game except in FF6's case because i believe the only intro was after the squaresoft logo. FF X-2 (and i use the term FF loosley here) will not be spoken of.

for my vote-even though it was the worst of the playstation FFs IMO the intro to FF8 was very cool what with the sword fight and all.

i also find it a tad irritating that we cant vote on our own polls here

it's a tossup between FF8 and FF10.

But i liked being able to sit down and just watch FFVIII starting and not do a thing until I woke up. In FFX i didn't much like the wondering around before the FMV's came in.

I didn't like FFIX's.... mainly because of the music. FFVII...i can barely remember it's that dull. FFV,VI etc... alright.

The movies for FFI and FFII the new starting are pretty cool though.

umm...if you have a gun to my head it's got to be FFVIII (Will is going to have a gun to my head for that comment lol)

I did a great job of catching your attention in the first few minutes aswell as establishing that their was a rivalry between two of the games characters and wasted no time in introducing the antagonist.

for non FF id give it to VS
established the main characters mission, his understand of it, and also like 8 wasted no time introducing the antognist.

ofcourse in both of those the antognist doesnt actually remain the bad guy/girl after you play thru about half the game. but it doesnt matter.

8's opening was magical... the music, the fight, the flower-field... Just as cool as everything else in the game.

final fantasy never sucks. even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.

and ffeight is not bad.
