I have a 4,000 pt Blood Angels Army. It kicks ass. Especially in Death Army variant...

My 2 HQ choices, in a full Death Company army, on the charge, land 140 Str 5 power weapon attacks, re-roll hits on all, and re-roll wounds on 32 of those. I'd like to see anything survive that. That's 22 models... 140 str 5 power weapon attacks, re-roll hits.

out of curiosity how exactly do you get 14 power wapons attacks. standard death company models have just close combat weapons and bolt pistols .

oh and bear in mind that whole tactic is based on every model surviving to the asault phase on turn two if you are lcuky. an imperial guard armoured company would have little problems with a close combat army such as death company and i realkon a nice dark eldar or khorne army tooled up with all the close combat nastiness they can muster.

and only twenty two models im sorry but your asking a lot of power armour even with feel no pain thingy

It's possible on the first turn, if I roll a 6 for my black rage movement. Thats a 24" movement on the charge.

but even that is if you get first turn, and not going first is gonna bring a barrage of heavy weapons down on j00 ass. Feel no pain not work against power weapons or instant kill weapons (its S double your T)

Itd prove interesting to fight that army tho, id probably play it with my necrons first, i feel its easier to get an idea of an armies strengths and weaknesses with them

whenever i have fought an army that is purly made for close combat it has failed. i never feild an army that is good at one thing and them hope for the best. its better to feild an army that has a mix of units capable of killing any threat they come against.

true it may be possible to charge on the first turn. but lets for one minute asume that your entire army did not throw sixes for there extra movement (as ublikly as that is i know) most opponents when faced with an army of close combat nastiness will give themselves as much room as possible at best you might get two units into combat then there the opponents entire army. so lets say you wipe out the unit u charge and then sweeping advance into the next they get to shoot you before u attack. there are too many possibilities for disatar when using that army. give me big guns any day
