if you dont have a cause...then you have nothing to rebel against.
and if you have nothing to rebel against...then youre not a rebel.

if you dont have a cause of your own and youre willing to use one that sombody else suggests, then youre not a rebel, youre a poser.

Being a rebel just looks plain stupid these days, simply because they never have a cause.

It's the usual "My parents suck, but actually they're just being normal caring parents, so I'll rebel!".

Either that or to look cool in front of others, with no reason reason to rebel other than that.

That's why I changed my post after I posted it. :P

And I know there's various ways to rebel, but it just all looks silly at the end to me. Especially since it's lost so much meaning these days.

Stuff like rebeling against a government and stuff, I'm just annoyed by that too, I don't know why. I could see it against a dictatorship or communision, but when you live in a free country and you still insist on rebelling, it just looks plain stupid. I say, be lucky where you are, and be grateful your country isn't a constant warzone. It could be alot worse.

And mind you, I'm not really into patriotism, but I'm grateful I'm not the one in Iraq or living day to day worrying that I could have my head chopped off for having an opinion.

You knkow what? Mabye you should rebel the rebels. Always trying to have something of a cause to rebell against, you know what. fuck that. just do as you do, be yourself. Dont have to be a rebel to prove yourself, but if need be, do not look for any sort of cause to rebell against. That sort of thing needs to come to you, Otherwise you'll end up being a typical poser. So my advice there, is rebell the rebells with fake causes and predictable lives, and that they only rebell cause it's the in thing.
