-Pure-customization
you create everything name, appearance, and skills etc...

-semi-customization
the character is already made and mapped out. you only choose the name, and some other purely asthetic detail.

-zero-custumization
you have nothing to do with how the character looks or what his name is or what he can and cant do.

thiers usually a trade of on storyline issues with these.
pure usually lacks an involving story but frees you to do many things, and zero usually has a better planned story but keeps you boxed up on a single path.

Semi total custonisation provides to make unique variables whilst that can be cool I tend to dislike the whole no one player has the same experiance bullshit.

the more customisation the better, i dont need an excellent story or nothing, i prefer involved gameplay, so yeah, give me complete D&D char making in a game, and im happy :D

i like pure or zero. ff10 angered me because they did everything possible to avoid saying his name, but you couldn't name anything but tidus and the summons.

I'd like to see a rpg with a traditional style FF battle system where I could custimize the shit outta the characters.

i would like an RPG where u customize everything about the character right down to how thick their eyebrows are.

so would I.

and im sure its possible, buts it probably not probable.
as it is right now your lucky if the game offers a proper skin tone option.

most dont. matter of fact the ONLY one I can think of is tony hawk. its a big turn off if youre not white.

besides, somthing with that much to customized about the character may take an hour or twos time just for the player to create a single character.

not to mention what both the coders and artists have to go thru to offer it.

i actually like to sit and customise

i would love the next FF to take me 3 hours to make a charactor.....meaning like theres about 200 different ways the story could go on for....ultimate longtivity....but....if that ever happens u can bet they will think of a money making skam outta it

has he never switched on TV, how many army dudes do you see with long hair in the army.

Voice acted games character name customisation should be banned, I hate that whole we know we can't name the character cause it has been modded bullshit.
