Terrible book,

I tapped out on chapter 3, I've read better fan fiction stories, it's boring and retarded.

My girlfriend got it and I'm in-between books right now, I thought to myself, "I've read worse" and it true I have, but this isn't far off.

Marna IS a mommy and even she refuses to read it. First Eric Northman, now this. I worry about you man. And no, you can't have a hug.

I tend to watch awful movies just to see what the fuss is about, similar kinda deal here.

I can't even bring myself to hate it or anything, it's just not worth it, I don't see the appeal of a borderline rapist, everything they describe about the heart-throb character is creepy as fuck. But the ditsy bitch thinks it's romantic, she sounds like a victim of domestic abuse.

I've tried reversing the gender roles, I don't think would have the mass appeal it does, there something fucked up with women in general.

I have no defence for the Northman thing.

Women should just openly watch porno flicks.
They run that entire industry.
As actors And Directors.

I have a similar man crush on Eric Northman too.

Jo's reading this too. She borrowed it from her friend. I don't think she's going to be bothering with the second. All I hear is the occasional laughter. I enquire to what exactly and it's some silly part of the whole story. She read the "contract" out to me and we both burst out laughing.

Mik you should read Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel books if your looking for that kind of book with a plot. I haven't touched them, won't even put it on my E-reader and i'm a member of a vaginal fantasy bookclub.

I might do when my kindle is fixed.

It's not really a genre I'm vastly interested but, it's worth a look I guess.

I recommend Jacqueline Carey for her storytelling, not her smut. She just happens to do some decent smut.

If your looking for something to read. N.K Jemisen is really interesting, you have Kindle right? I could Kindle loan you some books.

I'm going to re-read Naomi Novak's Temerier books when I get a chance. Have to try re-read Wheel of time. Brandon Sanderson just writes so much better than Robert Jordan so it's painful.

I wanted to get around to reading the Dresden Files just hadn't gotten around to it, a few people have been recommending it.

Make time... seriously... it's a great series with great characterization.
