Totally late to say now but I voted Labour and have done since I was 16. Simply because the Tories can't be trusted with the country and can't be trusted to do what's best for the people that run the country (working people, not millionaires). It looks like they're going to run the place into the fucking ground before 2015!

I was happy that people were posting dog shit through Nick Clegg's door after the elections. Smarmy little shit siding with the pure enemy. He should have known he wasn't going to have any clout in this coalition.

So, yeah, the sooner I get to skull crush the entire Conservative Party the sooner the world becomes a slightly mushier places (around about London).

Unlike many, I don't regret my choice. It's been a bumpy ride but I very much doubt Labour would have done any better. No one said this shit was going to be easy. I also can't stand either of the Milibands or Ed Balls.

I don't know why Ed Balls went into politics, or any kind of job in the public eye with a name like that.

Labour would have done insanely better because I highly doubt they would have cut the top tax rate and lost us an extra £1bn a year in revenue (since they put it in place).

I'm resolute in the fact that the people with the most to lose in the banking crash were the richer people of society (since the government couldn't/wouldn't underwrite any deposits over £50k) and therefore they should be paying more.

If people really seriously have a issue in voting for someone because he has a marginally comical name, then fuck me, it's time for Dark Ages 2: The Quickening.

As much as English politics doesn't really concern me, you've basically described yourself as a tribal voter there Matt, you vote Labour because you don't trust the Tories, which is just politics innit, the devil's choice, the lesser of two (three) cunts.

There is this terrible misconception that Labour are a working man's party, they aren't, maybe in the 70's or something but not now. The economic crisis and the fallout that occurred off the back of it, largely rests on their shoulders, they removed the checks and controls on bankers and road that horse till it fell and broke it's legs and their solution was to act like they've never even heard of equine animals before.

People in the labour party said after the last election "It's okay, we'll win in 4 years, let the Tories bleed their popularity on the cuts" that's pretty sicking attitude in my opinion.

There is plenty of stuff on Ed Balls that would make me not want to vote for him (if I could, which I can't) and his name wouldn't even remotely enter into it.

Nah I wasn't saying I wouldn't vote for Ed Balls based on his name, just saying that with a name like that I'd go into porno or something.

And I don't vote tribally. I won't deny that doesn't exist but it's not relevant for me. The Tories are a blue cheese tasting dick sandwich and Labour are an ordinary tasting dick sandwich. The Tories have done in 2 years what it took Blair, and even John Major, some time to do. They've alienated themselves from the country.

Did you know:

They are planning to privatise the NHS? Letting richer people get better treatment?
They slashed the 50p tax rate for people earning over £150k taking 30,000 people earning that much out of the bracket and giving them 10% more money. Whilst simultaneously putting 140,000 people into the 40p tax bracket by lowering that threshold (and creating more rules based on being in that threshold).
They want to privatise all schools by 2015 and open them up to companies like Tesco and force teachers to work longer, for less money and have less rights? (what we need is better education and better teachers, not more and more people finding teaching to be an undesirable occupation).
They claimed the rise in Uni tutition fees would only be implemented by top whack Uni's. Damn near all of them are charging £9k next year because they have had their funding cut and in order to survive, they need to charge more.
To utterly destroy many of the Unions that have objected to all their austerity cuts?
They're claim the public sector workers are trying to come off as self entitled because they don't want to lose their pensions, which the government has spun the story that they're gold plated (despite being way below the average for similar jobs taken in the private sector).

I don't intend to vote Labour because I love them, I will vote for them just to get the Tories out and ensure they stop ruining the country.
