Soccer or Football. Which do you prefer?

Anything in the sporting world, you know... that stuff that happens outside... away from TV, console and/ or computers... I've heard rumors... but that's all they are, rumors.

never seen slamball, and Rugby is VERY similar to football from what i've seen, just less protection

anybody ever seen a spoirt calle jhi aliah (no idea how to spell it) or something like that? People fling balls at almost 200 mph out of cutes they carry around with them? that looks nuts.

dammit i keep forgetting everybody outside of the US calls soccer football.

honestly i don't know why we screwed that up, but then again, we do a lot of things ass backwords. We probably just set our country up like that to be 'different' from everybody else. Personally i think it's annyoing. Calling it football would really make more sense.

and yeah, they do. They kinda look like half circle tubes that have been cut in half. it's pronounced more like "high ally" if that helps, i know i fucked up the spelling.

heh, that's where i saw it too, i love that friggin show. anyway i was wondering if anybody knew anything about the actual sport, it looks pretty hardcore.

and i really do like America's individuality, but now that the world is getting smaller due to better comunication and everything, it's getting to be a real pain in the ass. I don't mind driving on the opposite side of the road as everybody else, but some of the other stuff kinda pisses me off.

absoultly, there is actually quite a bit of kicking involved, but, as you've probably seen, most of the game is played by passing and running the ball, not kicking it.
i'd explain it to you, but i don't think you're really that interested. And for as simple as the game looks, it's actually kinda complicated.

theres one sign you're not from america, you call it a match :P

not everybody calls football soccer in america i still think its football cuz not only is that tis real name but it makes more sense.

also, seph, football palyers do not get paid too much. perhaps in your country yeah they do but here they get paid in grains of sand compared to what baseball players make(pussies) and what basketball and football players make too.

aye david beckham could have his own ass handed to him via cloning, just too look hard, he does adverts as pocket money for his children

Football players get paid far too much for being a set of pussies and kicking a ball around a field, then jump on the floor in attmept to cheat, rugby is a game for me, just check out the size on the New Zealand Rugby Union Team, those men could complete a tri state killing spree in hours, possibly fitting four or so into one day
