Aww he is teh cute Marna! I used to have a guinea pig, two in fact, and I must say they are great companions. Just like rats, they are suprisingly loving creatures (yes rats, domesticated rats!).

Mine were called Jeremy (after Jeremy Clarkson, don't ask) and Cocoa (cause he looked like a chocolate bar). Both were male, but I had them one after the other.

You can put male guniea pigs together, but you have to be cautious. It's best to put two females together, and obviously do not put a male and female together, they breed like rabbits! Guinea pigs do get lonely without a playmate, but my guinea pigs were fine cause I had them indoors when I was home. You have to be careful with this though because THEY WILL go for the wires. And you have to be careful when you're going from room to room cause they have a tendency to follow you and you can quite easily stand on them.

For a minute though I thought you were actually going to be a mummy! Though I have to say being a mummy to a pet is easier than being a mummy to a 7 month old wrecking ball!

lols dont worry becky
i started with one male and he was very loyal to me (rip amigo) he lived alone but was out with me each day ,he was a out door one full of bubbley sqweeks,he became my main breeder when i gave him a sow and ive handled and sold on the babies.
in the past i have kepts some males away as they liked to fight each other and some sows, where my main one was a solo type but his son that i kept was the loved other male company,i think my biggest litter was 9 only one didnt make it and each birth after 4wks it was sex them then in groups or id end up 75days later with hundreds of cavys
ronaldo will be dotted on by me and with haven about 18 of them over 6years ill be fine!
when my last one passed away i was so lonely with out a loyal pet,and i love guineas more than rabbits so i was over the moon when i got told a "yes" for my ronaldo!
and he will have chewi at home to sqweek too.
he has settled in nicely, eaten and pooped.
chewi is disgutesd i picked up the poop lol im so used to it old habits i guess.
and i know watery veg makes watery poops!

Sprouts gave mine the runs. Jeremy was addicted to dandelion leaves he was always squeeking for them. Cocoa was alot quieter and my Dad preferred him. Them two got on like a house on fire, Jeremy was always biting my Dad. Cocoa preferred strawberries though. He had scurvy as well which was upsetting to watch as he was dragging his hind legs. But strawberries have a high vitamin c content so he was better in no time. Plus the vet told us to get vit c tablets for him.

You know, in this picture, he looks like the first guinea pig on Mars. Of course, the conspiracy theorists will never believe it.

fuckin too right, the shadows don't fall right, the image would be more red scaled due to dust in the lower martian atomo. Plus you can clearly see a boom mic in the upper left corner.
