Yeah, I haven't been flamed or anything like that for years because I tend to hang out at places were people are more mature, so of course I took offense to it. It also depends on how you see the internet. There are those that use it as a cloak to hide themselves from the real world and to become somebody else, and there are others who use it as another way of communicating with friends, putting themselves out there as they are.

I'd rather be in a place like Aura were I can shoot the shit and come and go as I please instead of Alpha where I can get called a faggot and retard for saying that I liked so and so movie or that I didn't like so and so video game. I'd rather not hang out with angsty teenagers.

I enjoy getting picked on/picking on others.

It's just how I grew up I guess. Even when I go over to my parents now, everybody is constantly calling each other names or joking about. Of course, not everybody can see past that and immediately thinks people are just being automatically mean.

It's not necessarily maturity, it's just what I think is fun. It makes a person not so uptight and able to go with the flow.

Ryan, forum boards are just like highschool, it takes all types. If you choose to ignore people it's not that hard to move on. Just scroll past stupid posts or posts from people you don't care about. I do it all the time.

Aura's nice because it's small, and personal. Large huge conglomerates can never have that level of personal because most people don't have the time to dedicate to it. It's got it's pro's and con's.

I don't see a point in posting there at all. Which is why I haven't joined back up. Alot of the people are very immature, annoying, and alot of them truly have never changed. So I simply learned to just stay away from it like the plague. It is what it is. If choose to put yourself in that situation knowing that flaming would happen inevitably at some point, then why'd you even bother joining in the first place? *hugs Ryan* It'll be ok though. Look past the losers and move on.

I'm just there to have some fun. Most of the internet cannot be taken seriously. I don't think anyone is really to the point of personally railing against each other yet.

By the way, where the hell is funkybacon? He was one reason why I bothered joining back at FFA in the first place.
