Okay, I never thought I would say this, but...I've finally found a game I actually LIKE to play. haha. Crys intro'd me to it, and its fun, and addicting. I'm trying to get Becky to join so she can get her soul stolen too. ^_^.
If you ARE interested, clicky the links in Crys' signature.

I can't quite get my soul stolen cause I don't think that the game can run on Vista. Did I just say Vista in front of James? LOL! Anyway, for now i'll stick with Lineage2. If people don't mind paying £8.99 a month (or equivelent) then let me steal your soul, and ncsoft to steal ya money

Any information on how I can run RO on Vista? If you have, then that'd be cool XD

I have Vista too. I let it out of its cage and feed it some scraps about once a month.

I have a stolen copy of XP running on my PC. When my hard drive crashed, and wiped it self clean, I lost all my data. And seeing as how the computer was a hand me down from my granddad, I didn't have any system back up disks, so I had a friend download a copy from the web haha. I just can't do window's update thingies, otherwise it will freeze itself out.

Does it still have the sticker on the side? If so, get that friend to download an OEM copy of the disc and use that code. It'll activate as normal, then. And try running as administrator and XP SP2 compat mode, Becky.

That might work but OEM serials vary a lot. Try and download an OEM version for that particular PC brand.

I always run as the admin when i play games. Still no go on the RO game though. However, what's the last thing you mentioned?

You might be in an administrator account, but you can sometimes right click and exe and choose "run as administrator" and the last bit is compatibility mode. Right click the exe, choose properties and then everything should become clear from there.
