$49 a month for cable internet. Its not bad. And I had to select a server about 50 odd miles from me.

As I suspected, using the Maidenhead server got a better result than the Dublin server even though it is further away.

Haha Jesus. That's roughly how fast modems were in 1992. I suppose you're lucky to a connection at all though. These pages must take forever to load. Use lo-fi mode if you're not already.

they say there looking into get another provider that will speed it up but on the network here there could be upto 1000 people online.

Only got a 8mbit connection
and the upload speed is so awful. And BT is just shit too lol but i pay £16.99 for a few more months then am up to £30ish .... i was gettin my connection for free with AOL but they kicked me .... something about downloading 200gigs a month *shrugs*
