You remember them, they are those things that cavemen used before they invented fire and iPads.

The Tv miniseries on the book kicked ass, so the book has to rock.

That is technically not true as you are reading this webpage.
Anyway...
since last I posted I've read:
Emissary - Fiona McIntosh
Kushiel's Scion - Jacqueline Carey
and i think that's it.
Kushiel's Scion was delightful.

Just finished "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time." I thought it was ok, but probably because of my line of work I didn't find it as stunning as most did. It was interesting to see a main character with a degree of autisim though, especially from a narative perspective.
Don't know what to read next, but i'm sure Lesley will reccomend something

Kushiel's Scion, Avatar and Choosen all read in the past week... well at least significant chunks of it
Also read Jane Austen for Dummies, which has lead to a small reread of Pride and Prejudice and that collection of half finished worked by austen, the watsons etc.
oh and the bible... just a little bit.. the writting is small and makes me sleepy

I tried the read the bible whole shooting match once as a kid, I think it took me three days to get through the first 3 pages of Genesis, I swear it's like Wolf-sleep in a book, It didn't even get tot the part where they mention Phil Collins. That an Schindlers list which gets me around page 35.

Sounds like something my brother might be into. He's been studying Japanese language and history in his spare time. Can't say why, but he's read a stack of James Clavell's books.
I'm trying to read A Fable by William Faulkner and The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon. I've been very busy though, and hardly have time for my own reading.
