I can't be uber specific with this topic but I know for sure from my dad's side, I am a bit Irish, German, and Italian. I'm not 100% sure about my mum's side but I know there's some cuban in there somewhere I believe.

ah, the day when everybody is gold skin.
I actually wrote a little paper on that.

I think it may take a little more than 100 years tho.
maybe 200 to 300. maybe even 500 if we hit a rut.

anyway with things the way theyd end up, people will move on to other things to define themselves by.
I suspect subculture will become so relevant by then that you might actually have to drop the sub.

untill then tho, as long as you can generally assume a persons heritage on a visual level. we're stuck.

as long as everybody isnt calling themselves mullato at that point.
that word needs to die.

I'd never really thought about it before but it's a very real point. Nothing except the effects of global warming would probably stop people from moving about so much. Eventually the human gene pool go from being colourful to being just a dull grey. Then some single virus will probably come along and wipe us all out at once. Good riddance. :D

Jiére, I thought you would ask how it is I came to be French on both sides but then I guess you just knew I was all along and don't question it anymore. :P

Actually that's the exact opposite of what would happen, the more people there are ... mating the wider the gene pool. Although the idea of a colour blend is nice I think it's unlikely, given the original theroical reasons for colour difference in the first place.

The chances of the world wide population becoming soo diverese that everyone is the same colour and is part of the same gene pool isn't really possible given the numbers. The one virus wipes us all out because of genetic similarity is exceptionally unlikely or so unspecific that it really wouldn't matter what genetic diversity was like at all.

It'd be like the great lakes in Canada becoming a sea.

maybe their will be a comprimise.

like america being a place where it happens faster, and the center of africa and the center of sweden as place where it happens very slowly.

it think its possibly has already occured in hawaii. but dont ask me how
those people look like everybody.

Jim, I've known you were French for a lot longer than you have... so in your statement you are indeed correct. No need for you to explain it to me. You are as French as water is wet mate. End of story.

not sure of my exact lineage, since my mother was adopted and my biological father skipped out on me before I was even born.

But I know for sure that I am 5/8 Cheyenne, and that I am from Roman-Nose's bloodline. As for what my father gave me, I guess I could be whatever, But I am proud of the people I come from.
