I never thought of it that way. But it makes sense considering that he's so adamant about making sure everyone knows he's of Italian descent. It generally goes something like this...
Joe - "Hey Ben, what's up?"
Ben - "Ah nothing. Hey, did I ever tell you that I'm Italian?"
Joe - "Umm...yeah...about 1000 times."
Ben - "Oh yeah, well I'm Italian."
Joe - "Uh huh. Sooo, what's the plan for today?"
Ben - "I dunno. I'm kinda hungry. We should go get some Italian food, from my uncle's Italian restaurant. He's Italian. He owns an Italian restaurant."
Joe - "Yeah...I've been there. We go there all the time."
Ben - "It's kinda funny actually. He's Italian, and so am I! Weird huh? Kinda like a coincidence or something."
Joe - *Sigh.*
Yeah...that's about how it usually goes.

LMAO Joe, that was gold. Pure and utter gold.
And I thought that Ben's People would be easier then saying Ben's Family, Extended Family, Work Associates, Fellow Congregational members and pretty much every other tom, dick and harry that knows ben.
Ohh yeah and I did actually get to meet that guy who Ben knew that could hook me up with sneakers!
And finally. Ben I KNEW it. There was no way that your mom was going to mention my consumption of meat like 8 times whilst i was down there unless you didn't have freaky ex vegetarian girlfriends.
