someone had the other book, which the name of has been completely erased from my mind, in their house, I opened at a random page and there was a picture of the little mermaid ... wtf ?

That's why I went for Angels and Demons first. I've not seen The Da Vinci Code in film or book form and I'm waiting until the hype dies down.
