We were down for a few days. There's some good news though. The server has moved house, has a new line and has changed ISP. The best bit is we FINALLY have a static IP. :) All that should result in much better uptime from now on. The server wasn't feeling too well after the move but it suddenly started working again. I'm not sure what the problem was but hopefully it won't happen again, touch wood.

You see, if you stopped touching yourself maybe we wouldn't be having these problems.

Marna and I were watching an interview with Patrick Swayze yesterday. He said "knock on wood" and Marna said "It's touch wood, you idiot!" Yay for yet another difference across the Atlantic divide. I must admit I hadn't thought of the "something else" context before.

I think touching your wood is less painful than knocking on it anyway.
