I'm not sure why I'm posting this here. Just feel like it. I've been voted as the new IT Officer for the Durham Rock Society! Yeah! I was hoping to gain control over my arch enemy, the previous IT Officer but he's now the President. Doh. Nah he wasn't really my arch enemy.
Oh and I didn't have anyone standing against me either so it was kinda easy. A bit too easy. But it's all good! So I'm gonna have to go and build ANOTHER web site at some point over the next couple of months. Poor old me. But this one is gonna ROCK.
Ah this feels great, it's like I'm almost back in Durham already. I miss the place like hell. Roll on October.

Actually I forgot to mention the coolest thing about this. Now that I'm on the Rock Soc exec, I get to DJ at IC BIN Cheese! That's I Can't Believe It's Not Cheese. Music in Durham is really cheesy. Hence our night is a little out of the ordinary. But yeah! I've never DJed before but it's gonna be fantastic. Sometimes non-exec people get to DJ but they have to be really good.
It's also a weird situation with regards to the web site and forum. I've gone from being a lowly member to being the one and only admin in a single step. That's not something that tends to happen in forums like this one.
