this Ayasha my first drawing of a face in about 10 years :blink:

I decided I needed some character [s]profiles[/s] portraits for some of my stories and I've wanted to draw again as it's been a while and I think I've decreased dramitically in complexity from what I orginally wanted (cause that woulda been fucking hard).

When I first finished it looked like a really shitty Rinoa Heartilly which pissed me off cause it was about 5 miles away from what I wanted.

I wasn't happy with it so I customised her with some warpaint and a feather etc and changed the nose and mouth for about the 50th time. Anywho enough BS

If it is a skill I have (to which I doubt) it must be added to the list of skills I don't practise enough. Like I said .. 10 years was the last time I did this but I think I need them and no-one can get the ideas in my head down but me so I'm forced into it

and yet youve managed to keep quite a bit of it from slipping away.
either that or your just or you put heaps and loads of time and effort into it.

Looks great. theirs a few things that could do fixing but they dont matter cuzz the concept of the character shows thru 100% anyway.

oh yeah just one technical thing

its not a profile....its a 3 quarter
a profile might have been much much easier
cuzz 3 quarters are headaches.

it took just over 2 hours but most of that was nose and mouth problems .. man thoose are hard

yeah, so you see why it'd have been easy.

but as hard as 3/4's are they do have greater appeal most of the time.

The mouth and nose are the hardist part of art i have ever come across.
i normally make the picture small so its like a dot for the nose lol !

Of course. She was asking me (i.e. telling me) if I was going to put them up earlier. Will do shortly.
