Yesterday morning, I woke up, decided to check Aura, and it was gone. Was my computer just going nutso or was Aura down? The site was gone, the forums were gone, I couldn't even see the cute little icon that you replaced the IE thing with beside the address anymore.

Still have hellish connection problems with the server but Richard is still hassling the crap out of Jersey Telecoms about it so don't worry. I'd host it from my new place in Perth but I don't really want to have to foot the electricity bill.

As you know, I like to be in control. :P

And I may host a site from my Amiga for a laugh.

http://amiga.nvg.org/daneel

Despite being an Amiga 1200, that machine is actually running Linux. It is also possible to run a web server from Amiga OS itself, though I would have doubts about its security since Amiga OS wasn't originally designed with networking in mind, let alone servers. It would even be possible to have PHP and MySQL, meaning the Amiga could potentially host Aura. :D

Don't forget which machine was the ultimate in multi-tasking! I have Lemmings installed to the hard drive and you can run it from Workbench. The server would continue running in the background.

So, in theory, could an X-Box run a server?
