This is the place to say hi, if you're new. If you're old then nobody cares. Quit complaining and take your pills.

love is really creepy imo,
it appears to be gender neutral though cause several people have used it to me, which freaked me out somewhat.

Wait, Lass is sexually degrading?
Lad = Guy
Lass = Gal
Lass = Girl
Lad = Guy
Now
Bitch = Sexually degrading way of refering to a girl
Love = Creepy way of refering to a girl
Ho = Slap
Lad and Lass are just slang. They even have a part in the ENGLISH dictionary.

Its not Scottish. I've always been called Lad and if we dont say "young girl" its "young lass"
"Oh, I heard a young lass got knocked down today"

Round here it's "pet" unless it's a guy speaking to another guy, in which case it's "man".

Hon can have that effect if used by someone i don't know very well
Only person i know that uses it towards me dosn't bother me in the least.
As far as my earlier comment, i was saying Ho was the bad comment, not Lass, i'm aware that it's innocent, i was just referencing to how close it is to ass.
Pet... yeah... creepy. I wouldn't like somebody thinking of me the same as they thingk of a 'pet'

I love the Geordie accent. I'm gonna miss it when I leave. But yeah, I don't think much of them using those words. "Why aye, pet, yous goin into toon like? That's fookin champion!"
