Just turned on the xbox, and got a message thru my live service.

Wow, what a wonderfully crappy and anti-climatic show.

despite that, the new X is more than decent.

but I dont think they really revealed anything i didnt already hear about, but they did confirm them.

it's a powerhorse
theyve reworked Xbox Live with some new features
its cutomizable (about as much as a cellphone)
and its wireless

they showed clips of ghost recon3. quake 4, PD:Zero
and some new Hawk game that only has 1 tremendously huge level no loadtimes and is X-live ready.

also clips of some footbal game that most americans probably saw clips of months ago and didnt realize it. remember that CG football commercial?

but honestly they only clipped a handful of games coming to it.

Unfotunatly they didnt talk about things like the HDD issue, or the Backward compatibilty issue.

there was already a leak of what it looks like on the web. someone took a camera phone in to the private showing of it on monday i think and took a pic of it and posted it on the web. its supposed to sell for like 2 or 3 hundred dollars... i don't remember I just remember it was some god aweful amount. It looked pretty cool from the picture I saw on CNN.

And its Microsoft, so of course they'll be problems.

yeah i actually saw the leaked photos yesterday.

but i didnt give them too much credit as theirs been a long list og 3d modelers making concepts and then posting up misleading images.

i'm in the same boat as u goat. I mean i use it at college and love it but b/c all my games run on windows, i cant really move at the moment.
