back on topic

Bioware released some video footage of Jade Empire... it dosn't look like anything i've seen, although i don't think it deserves 'new genre' acclaim any more then Halo did for it's interesting take on the FPS genre.

it's just a different perspective

still though, it's worth checking out. They released footage of 3 different fighting styles:

Spirit Thief
Hidden Fist
and Double Sabers

There was also one for an 'Ice' style, but i can't find it. It was really cool though.

Ghost Recon 2.
I tried to rent DOAU but sombody stole the disc...and the video star only had the one copy.

i had splintercell 2 but it seems nobody actually wanted to play the game the way its ment to be played.

maybe that'll change with SC3

gamertag: JKAOZ
its gonna change in about 2 months tho.

Those looked pretty l33t, but I'd break it.
thats almost the dumbest idea ive ever heard. if im going to get carpal tunnel sydrome from playing video games, id prefer to have it in just my fingers not my entire arm. plus, doesnt that rather defeat the purpose of escaping reality if you accidentaly bash your elbow on something while tryin to do so?

EDIT: in an attempt to kind of return to the topic: SC3, just like the first 2, reminds me of a failed attempt at trying to rip off metal gear solid so i wont play it. that and i dont have an xbox nor do i want one

splinter cell and metal gear have nothing in common aside from being a stealth game.
metal gear is more like a sci-fi fantasy which is cool
and splinter cell is more like...well a tom clancy book. also cool.

its not impossible nor does it hurt any to enjoy both.

sam will never have to fight some oversized tank with legs.
and snake will never have to carry a burden as big as sams.

besides. SC3 is going to be the first co-operative stealth game ever.

CO-OP STEALTH

konomi should have done well to do that in in MGS2, but they didnt.
Ubisoft is swiftly becoming an idusty leader.

Ubisoft has actually been around for a while. I distinctly remember a couple of games for the SNES on that label

i don't remember if they were any good though...

anyhow, i don't have those games. and DOAU was great, but playing online hurts like hell. I can piss beat all my friends, but i can't win shit online. Honestly, as good a game as it is, you'd be better off renting it then buying it.

maybe i should pick up the splintercell games. I haven't played any yet, and i still have this gift card my brother game me for christmas...

I just got Splinter Cell 3.
Fucking awsome.

its faster, less limiting and looks like a damn cg movie.
and the coop multiplayer kicks ass all on its own.
to beat this theyre going to really have to scrap somthing together in MGS4
right now Snake is getting his ass kicked by Sam and Two Namless Shadownet agents.
