If you know where this comes from... I love you.

First there was "Darkness".
The "Darkness" lived alone for a long time.
Out of sorrow and despair, the "Darkness" shed a "Tear".
From the "Tear", two brothers were born: "Sword" and "Shield".

"Sword" claimed it could cut through everything.
"Shield" claimed it would protect everything.
Thus the conflict was born and lasted 7 days and 7 nights.
In the end, "Sword" cut through the "Shield".
And the "Shield" shattered the "Sword".

The shattered pieces of "Sword" became the Sky.
The pieces of the "Shield" became the Ground below.
The sparks from the battle became the Stars above.
The jewels encrusted on the "Sword" and "Shield" became the "27 True Runes".
And thus the World began.

Suikoden!

damn that game is impossible to find. I tried to play a hack of it, but it never worked quite right

i'm eventually getting a ps2 and plugging a mod chip in it. this should solve my problems

You wanna be careful about that, hun. So far my PS2 has been notorious about burning through it's optical readers. I've had to send it in twice for repairs. Fortunately for me those repairs have been free of charge, (and it's way older than it's warranty) but I understand that if I'd modified it in any way they wouldn't even consider repairs. They'd just remove the illegal chip and send my unit back in pieces.

So I've been told.

They acutally cant do that cause a mod chip isnt illegal, chip a console all u want .... but as long as u dont use copy games. It screws up ur warrently tho and they have they dont need to touch it but they cant send it back in pieces. Doing that is agaisnt the law taken the mod chip out and keepin it is theif

EDIT: Oh yes... that was suikoden 2 by the way, having the Bright Shield and Dark Sword runes, Suikoden one having had the Soul Eater rune.

And I own all 4 Suikodens

2 was my first.
