found some music i wanna listen to in a strange .it format.
I assumed it was an itoons thing...but that doesnt seem to be working.

It's Impulse Tracker format. I told you all about tracker modules, Johnny, remember? There's a million and one different formats for them but Winamp can play just about all of them.
