This is just to let you know that it is now possible to use the euro symbol (¤) here. I don't think this was possible before. Though most of you don't even have that key on your keyboards. Heheh. If you don't, you can do it using a character map program (like charmap.exe).
And while I'm here, the British pound symbol is £ and not # as I keep shockingly hearing from people. Where you lot got that from, I have no idea. # is usually called a hash symbol and I don't know of any currency that uses it.

Ah that's why they're getting confused. I've never used metric pounds before.

I've been wondering this for a bit now, on your European keyboards, do they actually have the Euro sign on the 4 key instead of the dollar sign?

No we have the dollar sign. You have to press Alt Gr+4 for the euro. That's the only thing we have to press Alt Gr for at all but in other countries, they use it for a lot more things. French keyboards are like that. But French keyboards are the most annoying fucking things in the universe. Grrr.

Why the hell do they put the dollar sign on there anyway, there's a shitload of countries that obviously don't use that sign. Doesn't make sense.

The $ is used in just about every programming language there is so you find it on keyboards. Not always in that place though. On French keyboards, it's over to the right somewhere.
