Backgrounds

Post by Mik » Tue Dec 17, 2013 1:43 pm

As part of a website project I worked on over the weekend, I've been making some backgrounds, they are basically photos I've fucked with slightly in Photoshop it barely counts as art, as it's very subtle most of the time, but fuck it.

I really like the first and second one (not saying the third is bad, either) :D

The first one is an unsociable resolution, though :/

I tend to not use all of it, but it's there if I needed it.

Have to agree with Matt.

I got a new monitor (Acer G246HYL) for Christmas. I'm finally free of 4:3! I bought my last screen just before 16:9 became the norm and the damn thing has lasted for ages. It's still showing no signs of letting up but with a 16:9 screen at work, I just couldn't stand it any more.

Obviously it was time to switch wallpaper. I did consider yours but I'm afraid I went with this.

I'm confused. You're saying it's too small. It's 1920x1080 as it says in your screenshot but the screenshot itself is 1920x1080. It doesn't look like you scaled the screenshot down so the only conclusion I can draw is that your browser zoomed it out and you didn't notice. :?

I thought it was that too, but no amount of clicking would get the right size, nor downloading it :(

edit:

I'm blaming Mik.

Blame is the fuel that feeds me, tears of problems grant me great strength.
