I keep going back and forth on whether or not this movie will suck or not.
currently I think it will be awesome.

the trailer looks as faithful as can be.

whether its good or not though, its got high flop potential though.
anybody expecting the usual super hero antics isnt going to get it.

I really loving the line

'The world will look up and shout save us. I will whisper .... no'

that's just win

I think that's on the first page of the book.

I know almost zero information about Watchmen, I've only heard the name and seen some of the characters before. The film looks like it will be visually stunning whether it's good or not.

Looks fun... but for some reason gave me Hellboy vibes.

Also looks very pretty.... going to have to wiki

I've always been interested in reading the Graphic Novel. When I get back home I'm definitely going to pick it up off of Amazon. It's only $15 I believe. The trailer looks pretty sweet.

How was Hellboy 2 btw?

Coming out March 6th here I think.

Tosh and i am looking forward to it.

I really enjoyed Hellboy 2, thought it was much much better than Hellboy. Definately worth watching.

Though Nualla/Nuada relationship felt...incestous.

I liked it a lot. I still wish the ending would have been the same, just because it would have looked so cool on the big screen, but the ending the director went with made more sense.

I thought the movie was a great adaptation. I really enjoyed all the characters, the violence, and the writing. I'd probably see the movie again just to enjoy the delicious fight scenes (I love seeing all those gang members getting the shit kicked out of them by the S.S and Night Owl).

I have to admit, the 'You're all locked in here ... WITH ME!' line made me cheer but otherwise the film was only okay.

I'm supposed to see it soon.
I'm wondering how they handle the extra information that was given from the books.

The pirate comic, news paper clippings, book excerpts, letters from characters to other characters etc...

If they don't handle it at all, then that's definately an issue.
