i was using green lantern as a more general term. I really haven't followed the story at all other then knowing the concepts and what not. Thought the idea was cool and had potential for a decent movie.

I only know of iron man because of Johnny and it was a cartoon adaption usually screened after Xmen.

When i was a kid the comics where a section of bookstores my mother didn't like because sometimes there where scantily dressed females on them...etc.

I thought they where intriging. The only comics i ever owned where phantom comics that had been put into showbags. One of them had a FF7 poster in it once...i was stoked...but of course i lost it.

ahh the 'omg I has FF on the cover, I must buy it' phase this is why the room next to mine has about 100 magazines in it.

umpteen years later here you are playing video games featureing chicks who wear even less.

yeah comics have this weird range, from newspaper comic strip adaptions to porno.
most mainstream houses tho have rules tho. back then im thinking most marvel/dc chicks would had a classic 2 tone unitard.

then again their was that one chick in xmen who used to were a cape, corset, thong, and boots.

dude, this is going off the same principle that nostradamus explained hitler, couldnt it just be a good song and be a coincidence that some things fit, or maybe, stan lee heard this song while sleeping in his car and decided to release iron man, and decided, that ozzy wouldnt get a cut, even though he made the idea.

was kidding about the psychic thing. why would I be serious about songs, comics, and precognition all rolled into one?

also the character was created before the song anyway.

i figured, i was just going with it, just to try and throw some arguable points into the mix. but its possible ozzy liked iron man and decided to base a song around it. but its probably just a coincidence, more likely than not anyways.

No i didn't go through a OMG has FF Stage. I got bored one afternoon and actually read the Phantom comic that was free with that showbag i had.
Though I did manage to score a FF8 Poster because my friend worked at Video Easy (That was awesome but to heavy to be stuck up with gluetack....i dunno what happened to it...maybe it's in storage).

Also... it wasn't really the best sort of book store that had the comics... it had like second hand and new books and also did a bit of the comic book related stuff, RPG games etc. But it was right across the road from where my parents used to own there restuarant so she couldn't really tell me not to go in there.

Plus my mother is asian... she STILL fastforwards sex related scenes in movies if we are around.

ohhhhhhhhhh man, i'm in trouble

my room has about... 7 video game related posters, 5 of 'em FF. The other two are Morrowind and Oblivion.
