i cant wait for SNAKES ON A PLANE: THE MOVIE, THE GAME!, if that game comes out im going to die. anyways though, i prefer the old guys in suits, i mean its like firing that midget who was inside r2d2, its just not fair. back to the old game, for the nes any body remember the trucks that would circle around until one of them decided to drive through the building? the furthest i ever made in that game was the water level. but turtles in time was amazing but i wont see the new cg movie they are taking it too far shreder has evolved from man to alien and then there was the dragon who came after him which was the time i turned off the show. and when it came back to the older style i just didnt care anymore, so this movie gets the same brainwave, i just dont care anymore.

the first season or two of TMNT was pretty good, but it very VERY quickly turned to shit.

the creators no longer had any real say in the later season/new shows.
I wonder if they will in the movie though.

may be, the idea that after the creators lost control it's unlikely they can just nab it back.

you seriously think a corporate movie like that is gonna give a rat's ass about the 'original idea' of the show? seriously? Those people will be lucky if they see any money from using their idea, much less have their plots and concepts used.

yes I think theyd give a rats ass.

look at the design of the models.

more importantly the most recent run of the new show takes most of its info directly from the original comic more than it does the first cartoon.
the movie is rumored to lean more into the same direction.

I'm not sitting here thinking eastman and laird will just be given control back. but I am thinking of the possibilty that they'll have some sort of input.

i still think you're giving the movie industry way too much credit for this one. Plus, you're only looking at a 30 second clip, which could just have easily been inspired by the 50 million other bits of ninja toons, games, and comics out there. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that i wouldn't get my hopes up too much. Hollywood has a shitty reputation when it comes to these kinds of things.

well when it came to batman they certainly turned things around.
even after it was solidifed as a lighthearted comical (in the comedy sense) action, actor cameo mess for the past 3 films.

now look at it.
Batman mvoies are actually taken seriously now.

that could be due to lots of factors. one being the direct competition with the influx of more serious comic book adaptions coming from a marvel foundation

whatever the case. youre probably not gonna see a film in the new run that gets muched up cuzz some hi-profile actor who already doesnt fit the part. decides he's pretend to be a typical jackass in tights.
