I should put this in music but this is to amazing for that. Really this is fuckin cool!

So lets say ur at ur m8s, and u hear this most excellent song but ur m8 has no idea what it is but u really like it. U pull out ur mobile and enter 2580 and stick ur phone near a speaker and let the music play into ur phone, ur phone should hang up after 20secs. After a min u will get a text .... its the song u wanted to know.

WOW!! So amazing.

p.s not sure this works anywhere else. I live in scotland so i'm not sure this is just a uk thing or no

I know of it. I wanted to confuse them by playing Cradle of Filth or something really obscure.

Actually I bet they do it by searching the web for the lyrics they hear, that's how I do it. I'll make sure to pick an instrumental then!

thats most likely it, but what about songs you even dont know, like for instance anime lyrics. or even say the fighting music from bleach, you can't find that song by just researching the lyrics. so what the hell would they do then give you a sorry message?

yea it must be lyrics i tryed Blue Man Groups - Cones and Rods and it said it couldnt tag the song

Actually I doubt they use lyrics, but match sound. I'm just guessing, but it's probably the same technology that voice recognition software uses. They must have a library of mainstream songs that they can match against your sample. It sounds like a pretty cool trick.

I doubt it. I think the amount of computation needed for that would be astronomical.

yeah Black Dragonscale shoulders are bollicks, I vendored my set sure the +10fr is nice but ffs it has shite stats bar that, Earthfury ftw tbh, but he's a hunter so he should have some Beast/ Giantstalker on the go.
