ya know, living in Ireland all my life I've never heard of that law, it's oddly never came up ... I used to live next to a coupla farms too.

i saw it in a book of irish laws i read once... *ponders* this being many a year ago when i was on a quest to learn as much as possible about my heritage... i also seem to remember something about a head of lettuce...
oh well. *shrug*
