man you guys talk like it a bad word or a racial slur...
hell if it is i don't consider it one, My home state major league baseball team is the yankees and i can't really imagine a bunch of americans naming themselves something they find offensive.

Talk about dry sense of humor. You take a fun-loving joke about british humor being stale (and it is, Graham Norton is lame) and turn it into an educational lecture.
