No. :P I love what one friend of mine said to another about it. "When you said it was a gay cowboy film, I thought you were joking!!"

Hancock.
it was interesting.
but it didnt do a good job of grabbing you till it was almost too late.
also it just felt like theirs large sections of the movie that are just out right missing.
I did like its take out how a fantasy superhero would/would not fit into a non fantasy world though.

Empress and the Warriors
Finally another chinese film.
Kicks ass. lots of it feels like gladiator at first, in that "what happens when the ruler names a non blood person as his succesor?"
They explore the situation more than gladiator did. The fighting in this one takes a more more realistic approach. so everything atleast 'looks' legit. Donnie Yen goes into berserker mode and its awesome.

End Battle: dont watch this unless you have no intention of seeing the movie.

We saw Hancock too, forgot to mention it. It was okay but not as funny as I thought it was going to be. The whole "destiny wife" thing seemed a bit too serious next to the rest of it and that set it off-balance.

yeah, the movie was neither funny, nor dramatic, or even really an action film.

The first half of it was funny, the rest was just bland. The story just destroyed the entertainment factor, it was much more entertaining to watch him drunk and being a dick.

Don't get carried away, I can name one wrong thing with it. Scarecrow. Rest was perfect though.

Yeah he seemed a bit out of it or something. I'm not sure because during a key part that I think involved him, the lights in the cinema suddenly came on and we could hardly see a thing. It took several people and several minutes before they switched the damn lights off again.

Oh and just saw The Wicker Man. The original, of course. :D It was good but I'm not sure what I can say about it really. Surreal maybe?

Watched The Other Boleyn Girl last night. It was pretty good. A nice tie in to the Elizabeth movies as well, whether they ment it to be or not.

But the thing I despise the most is how hollywood always depictes Henry VIII as being handsome and in good shape. The guy in this movie looked more like him than the others I've seen, but was still too fit to be like him.

Hancock - Alright but to much unanswered questions and a tad rushed at the end.

Wall-E - I loved the movied. I never rooted for the hero in movie for so long as i did for Walle and eve. It could of made me cried lol.

Batman - It was simply amazing. Chewi is wrong about the scarecrow was well over done with before the lights came on. But i agree he was just stuck in, he came and gone way to quick i wouldnt of mind if he wasnt there. U dont want to do a spider man and add way to many bad guys

It was just a cameo, Nolan has a man crush on Cillian Murphy.

Didn't seem like badguy though was he not directing the batman viligante crew, thought he'd gone all antihero.
