Dire Wolf

I feel the fire burning deep inside
Forever it's changing my soul's broken tide
Through Stormy skies that mesmerize
Engulfed in shadows that hide my eyes

Cutting through night beneath the starless skies
I set out on my hunt to destroy their lies
I feel the wrath within start to rage
Twisting and turning - a war will wage

The hunt begins - I feel the cool breeze
Travelling across the plains with relative ease
I sense spirits of the damned and the spell is cast
They'll remember this day to be their last

Lurking out of sight
I can feel their hate
Cloaked by the twilight
I can see their fate
Enemies to the left and right
For them it's too late
No chance of a fight
For them it's too late

I get so close they can feel my breath
Before I show them the true meaning of death
They try to fight back but chase their shadows
They fall to the darkness as their cursed blood flows

The moon is unveiled and the darkness starts to fade
Under starlight I prepare my dark trade
Lost in the night â€" lost in damnation
Lost in the fight â€" the hunt is my elation

I pick up the scent of my next prey
All my soul's innocence faded away
I see them in the distance from afar
The hunt will heal my memory scar

I hear their cries
I move in fast
They'll regret their lies
The Hunt has passed
Look up to the skies
This day is their last
The final lie dies

This day was their last

About a wolf taking vengence for it's pack's death.
