daydream in obscurity

i will be watching for it
untill the moment shows denial
never accepting its fate
hiding in it's shadows of mind
becoming lost as age lingers on

firing an injected justice away
asleep like the ends of insanity
sweeping away at my feet
lifting me through unconsciousness
falling up and away
looking back at the thousands of soldiers
a field of disemboweled bodies moaning out
the field upon the hour of crimson twilight
sleeping through the void of nightmare
to escape the reality that haunts me

twirling on about i dont know
swaying back an forth to an fro
along the gallows i go
satisfied at my sucession
proud of my horrors
afraid to realize
that it doesn't matter
feeling enthralled all throughout
forever lost in a daydream

lusting out of sensation
from feeding off it's disembered limbs
watching as day passes into night
wondering why this is to be
frayed from the ends of reality
i watch as i pass by
at which rate it would seem
that the world would revolve
to it would seem so
observing the people living about
from day to day
feeding from the fire of which they fear

i observe a man upon a cliff
glistening on from such scorching heights
a man follows on to his last chance
to get out of that which he had long forgotten
buried in his own defication he lies
constricted to the thought of going back
gouging away his eyes in
ripping out his nails
severing his limbs to go free
surrounded by the bowels
of which he previousely encompassed
choking from the thought that might live
he screams for his own death
lying before his own life

falling away from it all
rolling into another phase
finding myself in a padded room
restricted from thwarting about
lost from the sedation
hungry from bloodlust once more
but all i find is time and thoughts
forced to hopefully find myself

and as i embrace my fears
torn about from the pieces
i find that i no longer belong here
forever observing the inevitable suffering
screeching from the essence of hell
seemingly lost

I tried but I couldn't grasp what it was about.

It has something to do with pain and a feeling of helplessness to do anything to help others I'd guess. Or maybe you just watched the beginning of Saving Private Ryan and this is what the inspiration led to? Pretty good read. I liked it.

I liked it, though my interpretation had more to do with what he titled it as.

My daydreams sort of feel like that sometimes
