Im running behind as usual.
so here's a rotten preview with shit colors and unfinised line work.
whats taking me so long is the fact that Im not using a pencil or pen at all for this image. nor am I using the brush or air brush tool for line work.
Im using adobe illustrator and drawing it shape by shape in a connect the dots and bend the curves sort of way.
The actual coloring will be done in the normal way.
Its the Z man, done in the trying to immitate that Kingdom Hearts style of art.
later on I may do one the more traditional way and paint one out and see if I can reach a more Advent Children style.
They breast plate armor is from some misc soldiers in the game that you fight while attempting to steal the Highwind. these soldiers carry lances and were helmets. they kicked my ass cuzz I was stunned by their coolness.
I've always been a fan of the kilt making its way into armor designs and here if given him a half-kilt and taken it a step further and it also serves as a sort of tool belt.
but anyway here it is. keep in mind that the line work is still very unfinished and the colors were just thrown on so i had somthing to post before the day is up.
i'll post the final result when its finished.
