yeah, and I thought it was on this forum, but I couldn't find it.

But the truth of it always resonated with me, So I try to get some action poses on them when possible.
It's good to show between artists, but for everyone else who doesn't care to inspect the model from every angle its boring as hell.

I discussed it with a friend of mine who also works in 3D, and we pretty much decided its the old comic book philosophy
static versus dynamic.

I even got into argument with someone over it, about its use in the initial character design process. eventually found out the artist wasn't a character designer at all...he was an environment designer.

reusing lots of elements.
Haven't done much on the body or hair yet.
I'm kinda rushing to get the cast complete.
then afterward go back and add the real polish.

some clipping on the rig, but I'm surprised I got away with as much as I did.
none of the rigging is final now anyway.
