I may actually use the life model line soon enough.
but for now, Porn, so its possible the source was fake.

but if theyre good enough to look like real fake boobs then thats cool considering the toonish goal.

on the hair I'm thinking maybe afro. but not like the crap ones you see in 99% of the video games.

I just want somthing thats not exactly straight hair or binded down to the head.

I was thinking they look like real fake boobs too before I read the last few posts so you're on the right track.

Yeah, I knew you'd be going for real-fake because you mentioned heavy metal. I guess it's just the way they attach to the body. But that's probably more to do with rib and muscle emphasis which you said would come later.

The boobs need two things. A bit more lift. The profile view they kinda look a tad saggy. Just need a slight boob lift. And two...the nipple...is just a round circle. You need like the center dot in it. Would look a bit more realistic but still cartoonish.

On the hair, Afro would be cool.

i think the lack of nip was intentional. She's meant to be wearing clothes.

yeah, clothes.
a navel and belly will come with the details.
most of the details will be in the mid section, legs, and arms. and them more on the clothing. (seams, stitches, buttons, etc etc.)

so thats 3 votes for a boob lift then?

got this when playing around.

Image

Today im back in the mood to try the curlys agains.
I figure If I simplay meet up with too much more resistance on this attempted and a few others, then this or somthing like it will probably be my fallback plan.

so on the lift..
would anybody mind drawing a line in photoshop to show me just how much should do?

edit:

Image

one gun idea I was thiking about.
you cant see it well enuff be the text on it says "compensator 9000"
probably change it considering the character is a girl.

cant take much of the credit for that. thats the hair tool it does most the real work for you. I found some extra settings and played with them to dictate the look. its mostly a formula I within the settings made up more than anything I actually did.

but basicly I was thinking about how you typicly draw hair in 2D.
(Good example on the wolvenkaos skin with Leon)
but generally, to save loads of time you start with a fat root and end it with a skinny tip. triangles pretty much.
makes me wonder if thats what was going on with clouds hair in AC.

anyway. when i get back home monday I'll get to play with it a bit more and resolve some styling issues, and try out some other things.

Somthing in the stack started cuasing problems and the scene pretty much starting crashing anytime I tried to do just about anything.
luckily I managed to export most everything and import it into a new scene. and it works out fine.

but I lost some stuff anyway.
most of it I can do without, but the hair..thats gone.
i'll have to hope i can make it again.

I probably needed to to do this anway.

the scene that crahes is 3.1 mb
the new scene is 600 kb

so their was diffenatly some things in that there clogging it up.

They should probably have some kind of clean up operation. Each time you save a Flash file, it keeps on getting bigger and bigger unless you do Save and Compact. If it did that all the time, saving would be annoyingly slow.

they do..
its called freeze

if you start cutting and hammering away at an object you can see all of that stuff in the operation stack, so that you can go back and modifier it a bit more later.

freezing it kinda kicks all those operations that were hanging on out and gives you the current objects shape as the the starting point.

I looked through it. I had forgetton to freeze a shitload of stuff.
a stronger pc might have handled it, but not this old machine.

it still puzzles me tho. cuzz normally a freeze quite often. somtimes just for the sake of it.
