Here's another project I'm doing on the side.
small multiplayer hack n slash with an egyptian base.

whole different style of character to it.
So far theirs only a handful of hero's in the roster.
the final game design may not even have them, and just have you create your own instead.

Theirs a small video I made to go with this. but a) its too large for me to upload on dial up. B) it would max out the webspace that im using up(without asking)

shhh.

This is unexpected. You're a machine, pumping these things out. Really good except I think the first and maybe the second needs more texture.

They all look equally as textured to me.

So this is where that project headed hmm? Very nice, better than I could've imagined.

That would be the enitre point, it's a character model without detail it adds to the character massively, in the sense that already I want to know more.

Without me even reading the story or knowing what the fuck this game is about that guy is immediately cool and mysterious.

Case in point : Sephiroth in FF7, in the instruction manual he's a sillohuet and you instantly wonder about him.

it's the whole dark and mysterious thing like mik said :P

Dark and mysterious, usually = badass mofo that skewers large monsters onto pine trees for kicks

which like 8 different brands of awesome.

wow. an Amosis fan club

Can he really look like that in game?

Hmm...
Well making the clothes dark colored is easy enuff,

I'd have to play with some textures a bit and set up where the hood casts a shadow over the eye setting yet leave the lower half of the face (mouth/nose) free for light.

all that combined would probably help him retain his look....even on bright sunny day. its somthing I'll have to try.
