OK first we have the harpy...
who is totally missing somthing.

feathers.
a face.
blah
blah

and the boods are still the same from the Biddy model. so those are still weird.
I swear i spent an hour trying to get them proper, and each time its more of a mess.

so, yeah she's naked, but...nothing else ive tried looks right.
any suggestions?

fur on the waist (or feathers) and yellow down below. Make it more bird-ish.

on the Harpy I was going for a dark grey/purple thing.
it'll probably look like crap till its 100%

but she's supposed to have crow familiars so i need her color to kinda match them.

i rather like the shorter snout, but the ears need to be only a touch bigger. it would help.

The harpy definitely needs feathers, on the wings at least. The solid wings are baaad.

The wolf ROCKS, don't change a thing!! Except to add fur, of course. I even like the human hands, that makes it weird in a good way but I guess you'll need to lose those for the story.

I was wondering about the fur. Obviously trying to model it with polygons would be ridiculous. I was thinking about a post-3D-render effect where the engine could brush over the edges at the last moment... but then again, in reality, fur is actually quite smooth. Maybe you could just pull it off with a good enough texture? Otherwise only a minimal brushing effect would be reqiured.

Just on the wings on the harpy, when your doing the back and the connective tissue on the back just remember that you need a lot of muscle there for those wings to be productive flight wings. Also i think they need to be tapered just a tad and prehaps some definition of the larger bones in it.

If you don't want to do feathers on the harpy around the nether regions i'd suggest a sort of pebbling (simaler to scales but more birdish). What kind of harpy are we going for btw? Like ancient greek classic.... or something more unique? either way i'd go dark or neutrals.

This is just me but i think that the arch in the claw of the harpy needs a higher or slightly more delicate arch. if it's something that is going to be used to snare things with it needs slightly more flexibility.

Small almost nonexistant boobs my be the easiest way to go. less jiggly to contend with.

On the wolf i like it though i agree the ears need just a little elongation. It looks jsut a little to rotweiler/mastif.

Actually and please dont be offended. It reminds me of the werewolf in underworld (one not two) with the neck that chunky.

I dunno about the chunky neck it's so unproportionate.

But i think they look cool :D

it's a werewolf ffs not a pitbull, it the muzzle is short it must be more slender.

The stocky neck is needed to add the effect of strenght, also most wolves have large amount of fur and loose skin around the neck area. A wolf is a powerful predator, it endures it's prey and tires it out, it's acceleration rate is rather slow, the bulkier (within reason) it is the more accurate imo, it's built to endure and survive.

the ears need to be more spade shaped

thanks for all the help.
I'm getting all this info late tho, since i dont have an isp of my own at the moment.

so i gotta go back and re-modify

{wolf}
Fur...
theirs actually a tool built into XSI to handle it.
ive tried it. and it keeps looking more like i've strapped shoe brushes to his body.

the large neck was actually somthing i was thinking of compensating with.

I always thought most of it was more fur than actual flesh. the original model before it have a more human neck.
on the untextured model it all looks like flesh but its not supposed to be.
I bight try another tech I saw in another game. it was a bit like scale armor. and you paint the strokes of fur on each new piece.

muzzle...
yes! I thought it was just me that thought it was a little short. yay! gone!

hands.
jim, I've actually tried more traditional wolf hands. and it looks silly to me. i kinda like the human hands too, might just put some nails on them tho.

ok on the ears.

{harpy}
muscles noted. Id have definatly overlooked that. so thanks.
boobs. im such a guy, i dont wanna loose them, but youre probably right.

I think i understand the claw thing...not sure tho.

I'm going to try the pebbles thing

as for what kind of harpy its ment to be...
??? dont know. I just took one of moms chrystal angels and copied the wings on than took the feet for claws. can you gimme a description of each types you know of?

my times almost up...
