She said she'd kill me if I posted these but like Mik said, I think that was an instruction in female speak for me to post them. She simply asked me for a paper and pen earlier today and set to work on these while munching on some popcorn. She wouldn't let me see till she'd finished.

I used The GIMP to get a rough outline from the first one and then I tried to colour it in but I can't seem to make it look good. Not something I've ever really tried before. Any tips?

I like that environment a lot. it looks cool and serene...unless youre of the beleif that butterflies are evil...then it looks like impending doom.

thats somthing you'll almost never see me do cuzz im asomley bad at it.
where she did it over lunch I'd have to do it over two days...if i made it that far without quitting.

as for a tip with the coloring and gimp.
let Marna do it no offense ment but I think she'd be better at coloring them up than you. everythings probably already colored out in her head anyway. besides....i never heard of anyone coloring thru a ouji board jim. and I think thats how you'd have to do it being dead and all.

Uh oh. Hehe.

Yeah I would let her do it, Johnny, but I was just trying to figure out the technique so I could show her. Block colours seem to look bad though I was rushing it just to see if I was going in the right direction. I noticed that a lot of toon stuff seems to use a sort of two-tone colour thing, I might try that out. Gradients looked terrible.

She hasn't drawn much lately except the logo for my new program. Will scan that in soon.
