talent

From those killer tunes that you heard 6 years ago in the back of a mini bus, heading into Utah, or the songs that are on the radio now. This is the place. (No R&B please, because it doesn't exist)

I think I flaunt my stuff around too much, but oh well, that's just me. I complete something that I think is totally awesome, and I'm just anxious to see what others think. but yeah...I think I've pretty well established myself as a musician around here.

percussion, including drums, bongos, congas, all sorts of other toys. I've been in bands as a drummer in the past, including one that included members of the band in my sig.

I'm also very skilled at piano, and know a little (very little) guitar. I'm currently involved in playing drums, percussion, and plan on playing piano in a band. We're just starting to spread out. kind of a coffee-house style band. No name yet.

I have written a couple of songs, but put that on hold, mostly because the style i'm playing now dosn't work with the kind of music i write, which is more edgy and alternative. On a side note, i also write fiction, but i've been WAY too busy to do any of that latley, plus i start getting confused when i'm doing too much stuff at once.

yeah i had that problem too, damn keyboard teachers trying to get you to learn stuff you don't want to. kinda kills your desire to play the instrument.

you do NOT want to learn on an electric kit anyway

i've learned on normal drums and playing on electircs is a pain in the ass, but it's much easier then playing it the other way around. besides, if you ever really start playing you'll want to play normal acoustic drums anyway. i've got a long rant i could go on about the evils of electric drums, but i won't bother, just trust me, you don't want them.

Hey, there was nothing wrong with synthetic drums during the eighties!
