What are you listening to?

From those killer tunes that you heard 6 years ago in the back of a mini bus, heading into Utah, or the songs that are on the radio now. This is the place. (No R&B please, because it doesn't exist)

Type O Negative - Green Man

Spring won't come, the need of strife
To struggle to be freed from hard ground
The evening mists that creep and crawl
Will drench in the dew and so drown

I'm the green man
The green man

Sol in prime sweet summertime
Cast shadows of doubt on my face
A midday sun, i'ts caustic hues
Refracting within the still lake

Autumn in her flaming dress
Of orange, brown, gold fallen leaves
My mistress of the frigid night
I worship pray to on my knees

Winter's breath of filthy snow
Befrosted paths to the unknown
Have my lips turned true purple
Life is coming to an end
So says me, me wiccan friend
Nature coming full circle

I'm the green man
The green man

*gushes* I am in love with Peter Steele, his voice is beautiful

I like Kelly Clarkson she's cool.

Death Cab for Cutie - Summer Skin
Squeaky swings and tall grass
The longest shadows ever cast
The water's warm and children swim
And we frolicked about in our summer skin

I don't recall a single care
Just greenery and humid air
Then Labor day came and went
And we shed what was left of our summer skin

On the night you left I came over
And we peeled the freckles from our shoulders
Our brand new coats so flushed and pink
And I knew your heart I couldn't win
Cause the seasons change was a conduit
And we left our love in our summer skin

Rammstein - Links 2 3 4

Kann man Herzen brechen
können Herzen sprechen
kann man Herzen quälen
kann man Herzen stehlen

Sie wollen mein Herz am rechten Fleck
doch seh' ich dann nach unten weg
dann schlägt es links
Links!

Können Herzen singen
kann ein Herz zerspringen
können Herzen rein sein
kann ein Herz aus Stein sein

Sie wollen mein Herz am rechten Fleck
doch seh' ich dann nach unten weg
dann schlägt es links

Links!

Links Zwo Drei Vier
Links Zwo Links Zwo Links Zwo Drei Vier Links

Links Zwo Drei Vier

Kann man Herzen fragen
ein Kind darunter tragen
kann man es verschenken
mit dem Herzen denken

Sie wollen mein Herz am rechten Fleck
doch seh ich dann nach unten weg
dann schlägt es in der linken Brust
der Neider hat es schlecht gewusst

Shakespear's Sister - Stay

Some you Brits may remember this song being on Top of the Pops round about 1992 or something. I still adore this song since I first heard it back then. Bloody hell I was only six back then!

If this world is wearing thin
And you're thinking of escape
I'll go anywhere with you
Just wrap me up in chains
But if you try to go alone
Don't think I'll understand

Stay with me
Stay with me

In the silence of your room
In the darkness of your dreams
You must only think of me
There can be no in between
When your pride is on the floor
I'll make you beg for more

Stay with me
Stay with me

You'd better hope and pray
That you make it safe
Back to your own world
You'd better hope and pray
That you'll wake one day
In your own world
Coz when you sleep at night
They don't hear your cries
In your own world
Only time will tell
If you can break the spell
Back in your own world

Stay with me
Stay with me
Stay, stay with me
Stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
Stay with me

Eletric Light Orchestra - Evil Woman (Stripped Down Mix)

You made a fool of me, but them broken dreams have got to end.

Hey woman, you got the blues, 'cos you ain't got no one else to use,
There's an open road that leads nowhere, so just make some miles between here and there.
There's a hole in my head where the rain comes in
You took my body and played to win.
Ha Ha woman it's a crying shame,
But you ain't got nobody else to blame

Chorus:
Evil Woman, Evil Woman, Evil Woman, Evil Woman

Rolled in from another town,
Hit some gold too hot to settle down,
But a fool and his money soon go separate ways,
And you found a fool lyin' in a daze,
Ha Ha woman what you gonna do,
You destroyed all the virtues that the Lord gave you.
It's so good that you're feelin' pain
But you better get your face on board the very next train.

Chorus: repeat

Evil woman how you done me wrong,
But now you're tryin' to wail a different song.
Ha Ha funny how you broke me up, you made the wine now you drink a cup.
I came runnin' every time you cried,
Thought I saw love smilin' in your eyes,
Ha Ha very nice to know, that you ain't go no place left to go.

Chorus: repeat

Hang out for just a while
And I'll tell you a story that'll make you smile
'Bout a dark-eyed woman with a Cadillac
But all she had was on her back
Well, a fool rushed in, and thought he saw
Just the kind of woman that he'd adore
She lay beside him and turned on her charms
But this devil's woman sure knows how to do you wrong

on repeat, for some reason. Totally different songs, weirdly I've been reading the bible lately so I guess on of them makes sense.
