What are you listening to?

From those killer tunes that you heard 6 years ago in the back of a mini bus, heading into Utah, or the songs that are on the radio now. This is the place. (No R&B please, because it doesn't exist)

Fiona Apple - Red Red Red

I don't understand about complementary colors
And what they say
Side by side they both get bright
Together they both get gray

But he's been pretty much yellow
And I've been kinda blue
But all I can see is
Red, red, red, red, red now
What am I gonna do

I don't understand about
Diamonds and why men buy them
What's so impressive about a diamond
Except the mining

And it's dangerous work
Trying to get to you too
And I think if I didn't have to
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill myself doing it
Maybe I wouldn't think so much of you

I've been watching all the time
And I still can't find the tack
And I wanna know is it okay
Is it just fine
Or is it my fault
Is it my lack

I don't understand about
The weather outside
Or the harmony in a tune
Or why somebody lied

There's solace a bit for submitting
To the fitfully cryptically true
What's happened has happened
What's coming is already on its way
With a role for me to play

I don't understand
I'll never understand
But I'll try to understand
There's nothing else I can do

Good song. Do you have the bootleg version of the official version?

No. I don't own any version. Last.fm decided to be nice to me for a change and played this cracker. Like Regina Spektor or Tori Amos, I don't like all her songs.

Ladytron - Evil

When a menthol hit, hooks a spatial girl in her summer clothes,
Like a transmission, on an empty channel, all lines are closed.
Taking photographs, speaking slowly through the permanent waves
The taste in her mouth that she read about earlier today

This is happening for your pleasure, at your leisure
Use your evil, when you want

When a menthol hit, hooks a spatial girl in her summer clothes,
Like a transmission, on an empty channel, all lines are closed.
Taking photographs, speaking slowly through the permanent waves
The taste in her mouth that she read about earlier today

This is happening for your pleasure, at your leisure
Use your evil, when you want

This is happening for your pleasure, at your leisure
Use your evil, when you want

When the night becomes, automatic sequence joining the day,
Singing something new, someone else is sliding into your way.
When a menthol hit, hooks a spatial girl in her summer clothes,
Like a transmission, on an empty channel, all lines are closed.

Got to get you off my conscience by Friday,
On Saturday I'll be wide awake, On Sunday I'm your new best friend,
On Monday learn it all again

For your pleasure, at your leisure
Use your evil, when you want.

Terrovision - Some People Say

Some people say that what I know should be kept secret,
Some people say I don't know anything at all,
Some people say that what I do could be dangerous,
Some people say I don't do anything at all.
Some people say this is a song that needs the drums in,
Some people say no it's a song for the bass,
Some people say that they can't stand what they're hearing,
Some people say who gives a damn what they say.

Do you think I care, do you think I care,
Do you think I know or I'm aware,
Do you think I care what you say when I'm oblivious.

Some people say that I look just like my father,
Some people say I've got my mother's eyes,
Some people say I'm like my brother 'cos I'm honest and truthful,
Some people say they know my brother's just another lie.

Do you think I care, do you think I care,
Do you think I know or I'm aware,
Do you think I care what you say when I'm oblivious.

Some people say that we should let the search continue,
Some people say just what the hell's going on.

Do you think I care, do you think I care,
Do you think I know or I'm aware,
Do you think I care what you say when I'm oblivious.

A Dire Straits live vinyl I bought from a charity shop on Friday. :D It's a bit scratched but not too bad. Unfortunately their Brothers in Arms album, which I also bought, is very scratched. Tried to get Linux to filter out the clicks but while there are many sound plugins, there doesn't seem to be one specifically for that. There is a program I can use to do it if I record it first but I want to be able to do it on the fly.
