The AMA

From those killer tunes that you heard 6 years ago in the back of a mini bus, heading into Utah, or the songs that are on the radio now. This is the place. (No R&B please, because it doesn't exist)

I already have a feeling that this is going to be a big battle between what's "Nu-Metal" and What's "Old School" metal, but before we all start slitting eachother's throats about it, should really stop and think where to draw the dividing line between the two.

Most overrated band:
Tool

Muse
Radiohead
Pink Floyd
Ok, Tool, Nirvana and Pink Floyd are fine in that list, but Muse and Radiohead? No way, they are not overrated. Especially Radiohead isn't. Their album 'Ok Computer' is one of the most amazing masterpieces I've ever heard. And Joy Division under Gothic-Rock? I don't really think they're gothic... But I can't describe them any other way though...

Opeth = progressive.

I find the bands to be overrated, as many other people actually find them to be. I"m personally not impressed as much hype as they get.

Hype as in the most popular music (thus we get the term "pop") and apperently a ton of people listen to it if it's considered to be the "hype"
